Apple Cinnamon Pie Shake

I ran a bunch of errands today out in this dreadful Texas heat and decided I wanted something different than my typical smoothie. So, I created this apple cinnamon pie shake using coconut and almond milk. If you like apple and cinnamon, you will love this. It hit the spot and cooled me off!

3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce

1/2 cup almond milk

1/4 cup coconut milk (the top cream part in the can)

2-3 tablespoons maple syrup or your preferred sweetener to taste

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

2 cups ice

Apple slices and cinnamon for garnish

Make sure to buy the coconut milk in the can, not in the refrigerated section. When opening the can, scoop out the top cream part for the shake. Throw all the ingredients into a blender and pulse until smooth, but not puréed. Garnish with apple slices and cinnamon!

This is a superb shake! And perfect for this time of year : )
A great healthy alternative for guests and me instead of cinnamon apple pie!
And some could have both, if they choose!!

I'd love your feedback!
